Intro to Zentangle…
We usually offer this workshop as a 2 1/2 hour class for $35/pp including materials. Learn the basics of the relaxing, mindful Zentangle method of drawing. Easy, fun, no mistakes, learn a quieting, calming new practice that ANYONE can do …
Zentangle Plus and Advanced Classes**
(some classes require prior experience w Zentangle from a CZT or come early for an intro..):
Beyond Basics (Magic Tangles & Dancing Strings) (2 hours) Learn and try out some of the more “magical” tangles, and tangles that require more concentration. A few shading and embellishing tricks plus new ways to play with strings.
Bring your own pens or buy more at class.
$35 including tiles and a pencil shader.
Zen Mandalas: (2 or 3 hour classes) Join us for a fun relaxing chance to create your own Mandalas using Zentangle patterns. Learn numerous ways to draw “Zendala” strings. Add a small bit of color using colored pencils. A great way to relax as you tune into your own mandala creation.
2 Hour class is $35 and includes large paper and Mandala shaped tile.
3 Hour class is $45 and includes large paper and Mondala shaped tiles plus templates.Make Your Tangles Pop! (Shading and Enhancements): (2 hours) Learn a few extra shading tricks and other “Tangle Enhancers” to make your creations pop!

Drop in clinic: $11/hour/ppThe Tangled Garden (Gardening in Pen):
Design your own art garden drawing – learn dynamic, flowy and organic tangle patterns and experiment with darker toned papers and highlights in white.
$45 includes materials, 3 hoursTangles on Black: Flip your tangled designs and learn the ins and outs of tangling with white pen on black paper and tiles! Experiment with highlighting using white pencil and colored/metallic Gelly Roll pens.

Tangles in Color: Intro to Color with Zentangle Inspired Art:
Toss your fears out the window and learn some quick ways to introduce color to your artwork. Play with water based color markers, watercolor pencils and a variety of color gel pens, from neon to metallic.Tangled Beads & Pendants:
Learn to make your own flat and rolled paper beads. Experiment using different papers, pre-tangled papers and embellishing after the beads and pendants are made.

Exploring Zentangle, from Basics to Beyond, 3 week series
$35/per class, $60 for 2 classes or $80 for the 3 class series.

Start with a quick review of the basics, including the Zentangle ceremony, then we’ll jump into new tangles with surprising constructions and seemingly magical results. Learn more about shading and creating depth in your tangled artwork. Also learn more techniques to embellish and enhance your tangles, as well as playing with construction of tangles and making your own patterns.Zentangle Adventures in String Theory and Play
Even more approaches and possibilities for creating fun with unique “guidelines” and “strings” for your Zentangle art. Move Zentangle out of the box and deeper into creating art with a sense of discovery and no expectations. Try a tile white on black. Tangled frames and foundations for Zentangle Inspired Art (ZIA) will be offered for more advanced tangling.
Class fees are non-refundable unless class is canceled by us,
or if there is a wait list and someone else can take your place.
If you cancel and let us know ahead of time we can apply your class fee to a future class or products.
Classes of less than 3 people will be rescheduled.
